Course Description
Creative skills Development Course is the making and study of visual art. It is an art form practiced mainly for its aesthetic value and its beauty rather than its functional value. Creative skills development course is rooted in drawing and design-based works such as painting, sculpture, portraiture and art-making conception development.
Eligibility:
Bachelor’s degree from any recognized Indian or Foreign University.
OR
Completed Degree in Teacher Education from any State.
The course is open to all working /non-working participants.
Objective of the Program:
- Develop understanding into the creative skills.
- Experience self-creativity and develops ways to face challenges of creative skills.
- Examine the practical based creative skills.
- Develop competencies to classify different types of handicrafts and rangolis.
- Develop understanding into techniques of handicraft and rangolis.
- Explore ways of practicing creative skills.
Program Outcome:
Doing this course candidates develop a range of practical and creative skills, and gain valuable experience of entering exhibitions, competitions and building up a portfolio of work. They can set up own art studio or become a part of teaching.
Course Structure:
PRACTICAL
COURSE I: DEVELOPMENT OF THE CREATIVE CRAFT.
COURSE II: DEVELOPMENT OF THE RANGOLI SKILLS.
PRACTICUM:
Subject specific Work to be selflessly assessed by the concerned teacher : Practical work / Sculpture/ Project / Rangoli / Class presentations of practical work etc. for which marks will be given by the concerned teacher.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
Total Marks 100
Internal Assessment for each Course: 20 Marks (10 Marks per paper)
External Assessment for each Course: 80 Marks (40 marks each paper)
