Shri Mahavir Vidyamandir Trust since its inception in 1996 has been involved in imparting quality education to students from KG to college levels. The Trust commenced its activities by setting up a Shishumandir for children way back in 1996. Since then the Trust has set up three colleges for providing quality education to students coming from disadvantaged sections of society.
Shri Mahavir Vidyamandir Trust B. Ed. College set up by the Trust in the year 2003 is affiliated to Vidyabharti Uchchha Sikhsha Sangathan – and works to realize the lofty ideals of Vidyabharti. [https://www.vbuss.org/] The college has been producing quality teachers since then and it has been achieving almost 100% results every year. The trainees passing out from the college are quickly able to find jobs in good schools. In the year 2014, 22 schools participated in the job fair organized by the college and could offer jobs to most of the trainees.
Vimal Tormal Poddar BCA college has been set up in the year 2007. Since then, the college has trained hundreds of students in computer technology. College has emerged as the top ranking SFI college affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. More than 90% of the students appearing for final year examinations manage to clear the examinations with flying colours.
From year 2015 -16, the Trust has set up Vimal Tormal Poddar Commerce College (English medium) with two classes of 120 students each. Even though this was the first year of the commencement of the college, there was heavy rush of students to join the college and many students had to be turned back. This was mainly due to the reputation that the Trust that value the quality education.
While imparting quality education to students, Shri Mahavir Vidyamandir Trust makes efforts to prepare the students as ideal citizens of our great Nation. Trust believes that the great nations can be created only by creating ideal citizens. Students are made aware of the values of our great civilization through daily prayers, cultural programmes and various counseling sessions. Trust also makes serious efforts to maintain the highest standards of discipline within its campuses.
